Is it possible to make your Wii think you are in a different region than you are? If so, how do you do it?

For example, if you had a US Wii, but you are in Tawian, crapper you verify your Wii you are in the US so it module intend the US code updates and not the JAP ones? It would be REALLY intense to update a US Wii with a non-US code update. Brickola!

no, you'd have to mod your Wii.
which would void your warranty.
